Session Two

Its the dawn of a new day. The party wakes up in the abandoned souvenir shop and bids Otis farewell. it's time for them to begin their journey to the cave once again. The party hits the road, soon coming across a massive collapsed robot, The robot is overgrown with flesh of the Fleshmachine. The party must go through the unnaturally dark tunnel they discover Cathrine's backpack in the corner of the overgrown husk. Jax investigates the bag and finds a crafting recipe for ball bearings inside. The party soon discovers that the other side of the tunnel is overgrown by a fleshy film. Rainn makes quick work of it however and cuts through the skin-like film in front of the opening. The party exits the husk not without some extra items. Bishop and the rest of the party discovered a strange metal on the floor of the robot. As they exit, they hear something skitter away slowly into the darkness. The party continues forward and they come to a crossroads, the path splits into four ways. It's up to the party to figure out what's the right way to go. Bishop finds that there are footprints in the flesh that has slightly overgrown the path, along with some blood. The party decides that's the path they will go down. Upon walking down that path they find an old abandoned shack that's leaning to one side. it has a sign in front of it that says "Heaven's House" The small house is partially overgrown and sits in still silence. The party decides to go inside to discover that the fridge is running without being plugged in. Bishop investigates, opening up the fridge and discovering it's completely overgrown with flesh. it's contents are one jar and a syringe... Bishop decides to take the two before the fridge slams shut on its own. They decide to leave the building soon after. The group continues on the road to discover they're getting closer to Ladle Rock! It's peeking out from behind the pillars of heaven. The slope of the pathway quickly dips downwards for the party to find themselves in a riverbed. They begin to hear snarling and growling from the top of the river bed. The party realizes something has been following them... The group quickly bands together in order to scare the Howler off by collectively yelling to scare it off. This was a success! However... They alerted something else to their presence. A massive creature jumps into the riverbed with a loud "Thud". A Howler Alpha has appeared!
The beast roars in protest, engaging the party in battle. With extreme luck, the party manages to defeat the beast with zero hits on them. However, Once the beast goes down, Hoards upon Hoards of howlers begin to rush into the riverbed and what's worse... it begins to rain. The party quickly realizes... it's time to run. A couple howlers bound ahead of the massive group, quickly catching up to the party members as they run away.
Some focus on attacking while others make a break for it. The river bed is filling up... Water is pouring into the basin below. The ones who are fighting realize now it's best to run and they begin to make a break for it as well. Jax readies himself to cast a fire spell in a bottleneck in the basin. Eventually everyone makes it past the bottleneck and Jax casts his spell lighting the fire and blocking the howlers from entering the opening past the bottleneck. The howlers bound up the side of the cliff, snarling and snapping at the party as they rush out of the riverbed on the opposite side of the Howlers as they growl in protest. After this moment the party takes a bit to decompress and they continue on. As they travel, the clouds begin to part, the sun low in the sky. The party notices that there is parts of robots and husks of them scattered about the pathway. They litter its sides, overgrown by flesh. Soon they find the junk pile is now blocking their path. Many of the robots that make up the junk pile resemble otis closely. There is a sign that states "Introducing our new tour guide robots" That's half-consumed. The junk pile begins to twitch and move, jerking violently to life, metal scraping together as dozens of hands begin to form together, creating a snouted face. hand-antlers (hantlers if you will) sprout from its head. it leans forward, studying the party, greeting them with. "Ah yes, Travelers… there sure is a lot of you." The junk pile soon garners a name, Frank as decided by Jax. The thing soon gets along with Seven, making conversation about the nature of being robots. Frank mentions to the party that Otis had separated from them, and they're looking for him. Seven offers to give Frank his location, but the party soon cuts him off. The party mentions how they want to get past, and the junk pile mentions how it has riddles the party must answer. The party readies themselves and Frank states the first riddle: "I am unstoppable yet untouchable, Depending on how you perceive me I move fast or slow. If you held a mirror to me, all you’d see are two hands and a face." The party makes quick work of it, answering "Time". A correct answer! The junk pile soon fires off the second riddle: "I am a foundation but I have the capacity to grow. If you cut me down, I will bleed. My core is soft yet I remain strong, what am I?" After some deliberation, the party answers "Bone". Which was correct! This third and final riddle however had higher stakes. the party only had a limited amount of answers to give the sentient pile. The final riddle: "I am a puzzle for the sharpest of tongues. during our game I will gracefully dance around the answer. With just a pen and ink, I shall make you think." After deliberating Seven and Bishop come to an answer that the party agrees with, which was "Riddle" The final correct answer! Frank gets quite happy that the party answered their riddles successfully giving them a whole round of applause before moving away, revealing the path beneath them. As they are leaving Seven asks if Frank believes in god... and they say "There is only one god, and it is among us." This echoes in Bishop's mind. Soon the party finds themselves at ladle rock! The rock's basin is filled with water and the cave looms behind it, opening covered in tooth-like growths. The party decides to set up camp for the night and take a long rest. Bishop and Scraps decide to go look for food, while Jax decides to follow behind Bishop since he's been quite suspicious of him as of late. Bishop soon finds something to eat, an injured howler from the flood, he rips off his gas mask and takes a large bite, leaving the wolf's corpse behind. Jax, having heard the Howler die, he looks at its corpse, finding a large dog-like bite taken out of it. Upon returning to the camp, having left Rainn and Seven alone (Much to Rainn's dismay) Jax gives Bishop a suspicious glance before Scraps begins to remove his prosthetics. Seven asks what happened to Scraps, and Scraps goes into a disassociates. He's soon snapped back to it by Bishop tapping him on the shoulder.
