Session Four
The party begins the session in the ravaged remnants of the commune, the fleshmachine's advance ruthless. Jax, at a loss of what to do about his bike realized it could... fit in Scraps' bag? Shocking! As the party discusses what to do, Bishop decides to go off and hunt for food. Seven takes notice of this and follows behind Bishop, witnessing an interesting sight. A strange fused-coyote getting drained of life at the hands of Bishop. Seven isn't exactly very phased by this, opting to ask if Bishop wants to keep it a secret as long as Bishop listens to a small talk about his god, Kariendon. To Seven's dismay, Bishop keeps calling it Calamari. Once Bishop and Seven have returned to the rest of the group, travel to their next important landmark the Bowls of Blood has begun. The party quickly stumbles across an obstacle, a large fleshy mound with root-like tentacles growing out of it. The party quickly discovers they can use these tentacles to climb and make quick work of the obstacle. Upon reaching the top, the party realizes how truly desolate the landscape on this side of the commune is, it's quite windy out. As the party continues to travel the path begins to slope upwards onto a massive rock face, but there's an issue... it looks like a massive chunk has been taken out of the land, abruptly ending the pathway in front of them. There's two trees fused together with a hole in the center of them in the middle of the path, and Jax soon discovers something strange... when looking through the hole in the tree, the pathway continues, when not looking through the hole in the tree, the pathway ends. Jax makes this discovery known to the group, and they all are quite hesitant about entering the gap in the tree. Seven is the first to step through and he seems completely unaffected. The party soon follows stepping into the tree. They seem to be in a sort of parallel world, its twilight out, stars hang low in the sky and the pathway ahead of them Appears to stretch on forever. To anyone who can hear the frequency, the room seems to have a heartbeat... and Seven is able to hear something within his mind, a voice that sounds like his own saying "turn around." Jax and seven both turn around to discover something even more confusing. The tree is gone, and the pathway behind them is repeating for eternity almost like a reflection in an infinity mirror. As they turn back around they discover tiles on the floor and a hint scrawled onto the stone below them "BACK 4"

The party quickly discovers the letters on the floor are a Caesar Cipher, the party shifts the letters forward... in the wrong direction, but upon second try they shifted the letters correctly, discovering the word "SEEN" extending across the floor. Upon entering in "SEEN" their vision begins to fill with static, and the world begins to spin. and they are teleported in front of a dilapidated shack, it's night despite the party feeling as though they were only in the strange parallel place for an hour and a half. Upon falling asleep, Rain has a strange dream. A dream that she was laying atop a mossy island in a forest with a small lake of blood around the mossy mound. Upon sitting up, rain is able to hear something getting pulled back, and fired. An arrow grazes her cheek and words echo through her mind "Don't fear the hunter". once the sun rises, the party all gets up and continues travel. as they walk down the pathway they discover the path branches four ways and its hard to discern where each pathway goes due to the sand that was kicked up from the wind the day before. But they notice someone in the distance... Otis! Otis was looking at a hole in the ground, the party announces themselves and Otis greets them. After some brief conversation about a strange enemy in the area called "Boros" as named by Otis himself he asks the party if they could help him retrieve a camera from a nearby robot. He says he's too nervous to ask the bot for the camera himself since they are "mean". The party agrees, and Otis leads them down the far path. as they walk they discover a bunch of holes in the ground, some obstructing the path. To the party's shock, something seems to be writhing beneath the ground, displacing the dirt and flesh around it. the party begins to try and sneak around it, but Rainn unfortunately steps on the writhing thing's tail and it quickly pokes its head out from the burrow... its a Boros!!

The party rolls initiative and a battle begins. Otis, deciding to not get involved begins to take notes. The strange beast proves to be hard to hit, weaving in and out of holes in the ground, popping up like a strange whack-a-mole. The party whittles down it's health, Seven makes a strategic move by using Lightning lure to forcefully pull the beast out of the burrows, forcing it onto land. Soon after the party discovers something interesting, the Boros bites onto its tail, electrifying itself, slashing at scraps with its pincers, giving the poor mechanic a hefty hit of lightning damage. Rainn deals the final hit, Forcing the Boros to take the hit it dished out to another party member. Bite marks appear in its neck, glowing a faint blue as it collapses. Rainn heals everyone and they continue on to discover a hoarded out house with a large robot crocheting on the porch. The party does indeed discover that the bot isn't exactly nice. The bot says they'd be willing to trade for the camera and Seven quickly announces that they have a motorcycle... Jax is not happy to hear this, pulling out his crossbow and pointing it at Seven's head, threatening him if he so dares to trade his beloved bike. The bot says it doesn't care about the motorcycle, and they offer a mysterious metal and a bundle of wires instead. The bot, named Coyote is pleased with this trade and tells the party they must search its house in order to find the camera. Upon entering the house the party sees the extent of Coyote's hoarding, and it takes them a moment to find the camera. The camera is found in a hole in the floor and the party soon returns outside, taking the camera to Otis. Upon receiving the camera he's absolutely stoked, since he won't have to draw the wildlife in his journal anymore. He prompts the party to huddle together, and he snaps a picture.
